Delta TechOps, Delta Air Lines’ maintenance division and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider business, is proud to announce its growing relationship with WestJet Airlines (Nasdaq: WJA.TO). Under a new five-year agreement, Delta TechOps will provide exclusive component maintenance-per-flight-hour support for WestJet’s four Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. The agreement will cover various aircraft component services for hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, fuel and oil systems on the aircraft. Delta TechOps will also provide integrated inventory support and main base kit coverage.

“The men and women of Delta TechOps pride themselves on delivering industry-leading performance, value and turnaround times,” said Jack Arehart, President of MRO Services at Delta TechOps. “From our vast experience operating and supporting the world’s largest B767 fleet, to our extensive Inventory Exchange program that ensures aircraft components are repaired without interrupting the aircraft operating schedule, we look forward to the opportunity to exceed WestJet Airlines’ expectations now and in the future.” Delta Air Lines and WestJet have enjoyed a codeshare relationship since 2011 which allows Delta customers to seamlessly book travel on upwards of 200 daily WestJet flights to 41 destinations while WestJet customers can book on nearly 1,000 daily Delta flights a day to 77 destinations.
